About Us

Barbara has been a dedicated teacher, and mom who has been supporting the emotional, social and academic development of all children. Her strengths in any environment are finding creative ways to fulfill the task at hand with kindness and sensitivity to others. 

Barbara's educational background includes training as a coach with Nicole Fevrier Davis, within the Healing & Healthy Weight Course. She has studied at the Montessori Princeton Center for Teacher Education, early childhood level; Associate Certificate in Orton Gillingham Reading Method, Certificate Programs at the Open Center in New York in Mindfulness Studies and Integrative Sound and Music; Masters Degree in Music from the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts at Lake Forest College. 

Barbara is always pursuing a life committed to being respectful to the needs of others, while her ultimate goal is to be aligned with God’s will and a positive influence on those around her.
